About SiniSlot
How the WhatsApp booking platform works for Malaysian SMEs and their customers.
What is SiniSlot?
SiniSlot is a booking, appointment, and slot-management platform for Malaysian SMEs. Businesses manage services, schedules, capacity, staff, customer forms, payments, and records from a dashboard while customers can book through WhatsApp or a public booking page.
Who is SiniSlot designed for?
SiniSlot is designed for appointment-based and capacity-based businesses such as salons, barbers, clinics, workshops, tutors, consultants, studios, sports facilities, and other Malaysian service businesses.
Do customers need to download the SiniSlot app?
No. Customers can book through WhatsApp or the business’s public booking page without creating a SiniSlot account or downloading another app.
How does SiniSlot prevent double-bookings?
SiniSlot checks service schedules, business hours, capacity, and existing reservations in real time. A full or unavailable slot is not offered for a new booking.
Can a business offer multiple services and collect custom information?
Yes. A business can configure services, prices, duration, availability, and custom booking forms. Limits depend on the business’s current SiniSlot plan.
Is SiniSlot available outside Malaysia?
SiniSlot is currently designed around Malaysian businesses, MYR pricing, Malaysia Stripe accounts, FPX, GrabPay, and LHDN MyInvois. Availability and payment features for other countries are not currently promised.
Customer Bookings and Payments
What customers should know when booking and paying a business through SiniSlot.
Can customers pay for an appointment through SiniSlot?
Yes, when the business has enabled online booking payments and completed Stripe verification. The business can require no online payment, a fixed deposit, a percentage deposit, or full payment.
Which online payment methods does SiniSlot support?
Eligible Malaysian businesses can offer Card, FPX, and GrabPay through Stripe. Only methods that are active for that business’s Stripe account appear at checkout, so availability can differ by business or transaction.
Who receives the customer’s booking payment?
The payment is processed by Stripe for the business’s connected Stripe account. It is merchant money owed to the business, not Pitis and not a SiniSlot subscription payment.
When is a paid booking confirmed?
A paid booking is confirmed only after SiniSlot receives verified payment confirmation from Stripe. Returning to SiniSlot or seeing a browser success screen alone does not override Stripe’s payment status.
How long does a customer have to complete checkout?
A temporary slot is normally held for about 30 minutes while Stripe Checkout is open. If payment is not confirmed before the hold expires, the slot may be released for another customer.
Is there a minimum online booking payment?
Yes. Stripe booking charges must be at least RM2.00. A free service or a payment policy that calculates to RM0 bypasses Stripe; a calculated amount between RM0.01 and RM1.99 cannot be collected through this checkout.
Will the customer receive a receipt?
Yes. After a successful payment, SiniSlot sends a secure private receipt link through WhatsApp when WhatsApp delivery is available. The receipt shows booking and payment totals and updates when a refund is recorded; it does not display full card details or public Stripe identifiers.
How do cancellations and refunds work?
The business that accepted the booking sets its cancellation and refund policy and decides whether a refund is due, subject to applicable law. A paid booking cannot be cancelled through the customer self-service flow; contact the business. Refund arrival time depends on Stripe, the payment method, and the customer’s bank or wallet provider.
What should a customer do if payment succeeded but the booking is not visible?
Do not pay a second time. Keep the booking reference or receipt, wait briefly for payment reconciliation, and contact the business. If the business cannot resolve it, contact support@sinislot.shop with the booking reference, but never send full card details, passwords, or one-time codes.
Business Payments, Stripe, and Payouts
How SMEs activate collections, choose a payment policy, and manage merchant funds.
How does a business enable booking payments?
An account owner opens Payment Settings, connects or creates a Stripe account, completes Stripe onboarding, and waits for charges and payouts to be enabled. The owner can then choose the booking payment policy and use the payment methods active on the connected account.
What booking payment policies can an SME set?
The account owner can choose no online payment, a fixed deposit, a percentage deposit, or full payment. The selected policy applies during booking, while services priced at RM0 remain free and bypass Stripe.
Can staff change payment settings or view merchant balances?
No. Payment Settings is restricted to the business account owner. Staff access is limited to the operational permissions provided by the owner and does not include Stripe onboarding, payment policy, balances, bank details, or payouts.
Where can an SME see Stripe balances and payouts?
Payment Settings shows a read-only summary of available and pending MYR balances, payout schedule, and recent payout records. Bank-account management, withdrawals, payout changes, and complete financial controls remain in the secure Stripe Dashboard.
Does SiniSlot hold or withdraw the SME’s Stripe funds?
SiniSlot facilitates direct charges on the SME’s connected Stripe account and displays limited account information. SiniSlot does not provide a bank account, and the current dashboard does not initiate withdrawals or change the SME’s bank details.
Why is a payment method unavailable?
Card, FPX, or GrabPay may be pending, inactive, restricted, or unsupported for the connected account or transaction. The owner should review Payment Settings and Stripe’s outstanding verification requirements.
Are Stripe merchant funds the same as the Pitis Wallet?
No. Stripe balances are customer payments belonging to the SME. Pitis is a separate SiniSlot platform credit used for subscriptions and eligible platform usage; 1 Pitis is currently valued at RM1 for wallet accounting and cannot be withdrawn as merchant revenue.
Bookings, Notifications, and E-Invoices
Managing booking operations, customer communications, and Malaysian E-Invoices.
How are businesses notified about new or paid bookings?
SiniSlot can provide dashboard notifications, Web Push notifications when enabled, and WhatsApp booking messages. Delivery depends on browser, device, network, and third-party provider availability, so the dashboard remains the authoritative operational view.
Can a business edit, complete, cancel, or refund a booking?
Authorized users can manage booking details and status from the Bookings dashboard. Paid cancellations use the dedicated refund-and-cancel flow so Stripe’s refund status and the booking record remain aligned.
Does SiniSlot support LHDN E-Invoice and MyInvois?
Yes, eligible paid plans include E-Invoice tools and LHDN MyInvois settings. The business remains responsible for accurate taxpayer details, classification, submission decisions, recordkeeping, and compliance with current LHDN requirements.
Does a SiniSlot payment receipt replace an LHDN E-Invoice?
No. The lightweight payment receipt confirms booking and payment information; it is not automatically an LHDN-validated E-Invoice, tax invoice, or proof that a submission was accepted by MyInvois.
Plans, Privacy, and Support
Subscriptions, data protection, chatbot help, and contacting SiniSlot.
What SiniSlot plans are available?
SiniSlot currently offers Free, Mula at RM29 per 30-day subscription period, Hebat at RM59, and Empayar at RM199. Booking, service, form, staff, support, financial, and E-Invoice limits vary by plan; check the Pricing page for the current comparison.
How do subscriptions and Pitis top-ups work?
Businesses top up Pitis through the Wallet using Stripe Checkout. Paid-plan charges are deducted from the Pitis Wallet every 30 days while sufficient balance is available. These platform purchases are separate from customer booking payments.
How does SiniSlot protect payment information?
Stripe collects and processes payment credentials in Stripe-hosted checkout. SiniSlot does not store complete card numbers, card security codes, online-banking passwords, or one-time payment codes. Access controls, signed webhooks, encrypted connections, and restricted receipt links protect the surrounding booking workflow.
Does the SiniSlot chatbot give financial or legal advice?
No. The chatbot provides general product guidance and may use Google Gemini to generate answers. It should not be relied on for legal, tax, accounting, financial, or payment-dispute advice, and users should not enter sensitive payment credentials or confidential information into chat.
How can I contact SiniSlot support?
Use the Contact page or email support@sinislot.shop for platform and account help. Customers should contact the business they booked with first for service delivery, appointment changes, cancellations, refunds, or merchant-specific policies.
Still have questions?
Contact the SiniSlot support team for account-specific help. For a booking, payment, cancellation, or refund, contact the business you booked with first.
