About
What SiniSlot is, and who is responsible for what
SiniSlot is booking software for Malaysian service businesses. It turns WhatsApp and web enquiries into confirmed appointments, checks availability, can collect an optional deposit through the business’s own connected Stripe account, keeps the day’s bookings in one ledger, and provides tooling for LHDN E-Invoice submission. Customers book without installing an app.

How money moves
SiniSlot does not hold or process customer funds. When a customer pays for a booking, the charge is made on the business’s own connected Stripe account. Stripe performs verification, holds the funds, and pays out to the business. SiniSlot records the payment state so the booking can be confirmed, refunded, or reconciled.
- 01The customer chooses a service and time, in WhatsApp or on the booking page.
- 02SiniSlot checks the business’s availability and capacity.
- 03If the business requires a deposit or full payment, the customer pays through Stripe-hosted checkout.
- 04SiniSlot waits for Stripe to confirm the payment before the slot is treated as confirmed.
- 05The booking appears in the business ledger, and the customer receives a private receipt.
- 06A booking receipt is not an LHDN E-Invoice. E-Invoice submission is a separate step the business controls.
Who is responsible for what
Booking software sits between a customer, a business, a payment processor, and a tax authority. These boundaries decide who a customer should contact, and who carries a statutory duty.
SiniSlot
Provides the software: availability rules, booking records, customer forms, WhatsApp and web booking journeys, staff access, reminders, analytics, payment orchestration, and E-Invoice tooling.
Does not deliver the booked service, does not set prices or refund policy, and does not hold or process customer payment funds.
The business (account owner)
Controls its services, prices, availability, deposit and cancellation policy, staff permissions, refunds, and the actual service delivered to the customer. It is the merchant in the customer relationship.
Is not required to use online payments; booking works without them.
Stripe
Processes customer booking payments, performs merchant onboarding and verification, holds funds, and manages payouts to the business. Charges are made on the business’s own connected Stripe account.
Availability of Card, FPX, or GrabPay depends on what Stripe has activated for that account.
LHDN / MyInvois
Operates Malaysia’s e-invoicing system. The business is the taxpayer and remains responsible for the accuracy and submission of its own invoices.
SiniSlot provides tooling to support submission workflows; it is not a tax adviser and does not assume the business’s statutory duties.
