For car wash and detailing

Fill every bay without losing a full-day detail to a no-show

SiniSlot lets a Malaysian car wash or detailing shop take bookings through WhatsApp or a booking link. It shows only times a bay is genuinely free, holds the bay for the length the job actually takes, can require a deposit through the shop’s own connected Stripe account, and records every job with its payment state. Customers book without installing an app.

Why a detailing bay ends up empty

A quick wash and a full paint correction are not the same booking, but a WhatsApp thread treats them identically. That is where the day breaks down.

  • A customer books "detailing" with no indication whether it is two hours or a full day, so the bay is planned wrong.
  • Two cars arrive for the same slot because the schedule lives across several chats and nobody reconciled them.
  • A full-day coating job cancels the night before, the bay sits idle, and there is no time to resell it.
  • A sedan and a 4x4 are quoted the same price by mistake, and the disagreement happens after the work is done.
  • Walk-ins are turned away for a booking that never arrives, so you lose the job you already had.

What one empty bay-day costs

Detailing loses money differently to a quick wash: the loss is measured in bay hours, not in one missed haircut. Fill in your own figures.

Full detail priceRM 350
Bay hours that job occupies6 hours
Full-day no-shows per month2
Lost revenue per monthRM 700
Deposit that would have been held at 30%RM 105 per booking

This is a worked example with the inputs shown, not a measured result and not a claim about what SiniSlot will achieve for your shop.

How a booking runs

One continuous journey, from the customer’s first message to a bay reserved for the right length of time.

  1. 01

    Customer messages the shop

They tap your link or send a WhatsApp message. No app to install, no account to create.

  2. 02

They choose the service and vehicle

A wash, a wax, a coating, or a full detail. Set a separate service per vehicle size so a 4x4 is never priced as a sedan.

  3. 03

    SiniSlot checks bay availability

Each service carries its own duration, so a six-hour detail blocks six hours of bay time rather than a single slot.

  4. 04

    They pick a time

Only genuinely free bay time is offered, so two cars can never be booked into the same bay.

  5. 05

A deposit is taken, if you require one

Optional, and most useful on long jobs. Paid through Stripe-hosted checkout on your own connected Stripe account.

  6. 06

    The bay is reserved

SiniSlot waits for the payment provider to confirm before treating the booking as paid, so a failed payment never holds a bay hostage.

  7. 07

    Everyone has a record

The job appears in your schedule with the vehicle and service. The customer gets a private receipt and a reminder before the appointment.

What matters in a wash or detailing shop

These are the parts that decide whether the schedule survives a busy weekend.

Duration per service

A express wash and a paint correction occupy very different amounts of bay time. Each service carries its own length.

Pricing by vehicle size

List sedan, MPV, and 4x4 as separate services with their own prices and durations, so the quote is settled before the car arrives.

Multiple bays

Set how many jobs can run at once so the schedule matches the number of bays and hands you actually have.

Deposits on long jobs

Take nothing on a quick wash and a percentage on a full detail. A full-day job is the one you cannot afford to lose.

Staff accounts

Whoever is on the counter can manage the day without reaching your billing, plan, or payment settings.

Reminders before the slot

A WhatsApp reminder goes out before the appointment. Customers consent during booking; it is not marketing.

A price list customers can read

A public page with your packages, prices by vehicle size, photos and common questions, so you stop re-quoting the same job.

Cancellation that is recorded

A paid booking cannot be quietly cancelled. A refund must be confirmed by the payment provider before the booking changes state.

Setting up, realistically

Four things before a customer can book. Most shops finish in under twenty minutes.

  1. 01Claim your booking link, for example sinislot.shop/b/your-shop.
  2. 02Add each package as a service, with its real price and how long it occupies a bay.
  3. 03If price depends on vehicle size, list the sizes as separate services.
  4. 04Set your opening hours and how many bays can run at once.
  5. 05Preview the page as a customer, then send yourself a test booking before sharing it.
  6. 06Connect Stripe later, only when you decide to hold deposits on long jobs.

Which plan fits a wash or detailing shop

Plans differ by monthly booking volume, number of services, and whether you need staff accounts.

One bay, testing the workflow

Free — 60 bookings a month, 2 services, no card required

A shop with a full package list and reminders

Mula — RM29 a month, 150 bookings, 5 services

Several bays with staff sharing the schedule

Hebat — RM59 a month, 600 bookings, 20 services, 3 staff accounts

Multiple branches or very high volume

Empayar — RM199 a month, unlimited bookings, services and staff

Stripe charges its own processing fee on customer payments, which is separate from the plan price. Check Stripe’s Malaysia pricing for current rates.

Questions wash and detailing shops ask

Can I charge different prices for a sedan and a 4x4?

Yes. List each vehicle size as its own service with its own price and duration. The customer picks the one that matches their car, so the price and the bay time are both correct before they arrive.

How do I stop a six-hour detail being booked as a one-hour slot?

Each service carries its own duration. When a customer chooses a six-hour detail, SiniSlot blocks six hours of bay time and will not offer an overlapping slot to anyone else.

Can I run more than one bay at the same time?

Yes. You set how many jobs can run concurrently, so the schedule reflects the number of bays and staff actually working.

Do I have to take a deposit?

No. Deposits are optional and can be set per your own policy. Many shops take nothing on a quick wash and a percentage on a full-day detail, where a no-show is expensive.

Who holds the money when a customer pays a deposit?

Stripe does, on your own connected Stripe account. SiniSlot does not hold or process your customers’ funds. Stripe handles verification and pays out to your bank account.

What about walk-ins?

Bookings and walk-ins can coexist. The schedule shows which bay time is already committed, so you can see at a glance whether a walk-in fits before you accept it.

Is a booking receipt the same as an LHDN E-Invoice?

No. A booking receipt confirms the customer paid. An LHDN E-Invoice is a separate tax document submitted through MyInvois. SiniSlot provides tooling to support that submission, but your business remains the taxpayer responsible for it.

Can I try it before signing up?

Yes. The sandbox opens a temporary account with sample bookings so you can use the real dashboard and the WhatsApp booking journey. It is deleted when you leave, and no card is involved.

Start with the free plan

Sixty bookings a month, no card required. Add deposits, staff accounts, or E-Invoice tooling only when the shop actually needs them.
